OUR HISTORY
Town Talk Headwear (Louisville, KY, USA) first opened its doors in 1919 as a family owned company with five employees and a desire to manufacture the highest quality headwear in America. We are one of the longest-lasting businesses in our industry.
Current Owner and CEO Wayne Joplin, Sr. officially entered the business in 1959, and later purchased 100% of the company in 1989. Since that time, all of his children, some of their spouses, and a few fresh new minds have helped Town Talk Headwear grow into the company that exists today.
Throughout the years, Town Talk Headwear has produced headwear and apparel for Little League Baseball, military fatigue caps for the US Army during times of national crisis, many popular and famous names and brands of the athletic and corporate world, and most of today’s popular golf resorts and pro shops. We are proud that throughout the world, the Town Talk Headwear name remains synonymous with the very best in custom embroidered apparel.
Today, the family’s third generation proudly continues the Town Talk Headwear "highest quality" tradition, as our business model expands to the new network frontiers of e-commerce, social medial, and online availability, and client outreach grows beyond the world of athletics.
Our range currently includes over 150 different styles of Men’s, Women’s, Junior and Plus-Sized products, many of which are still "Made in the USA."
OUR GOAL
